The 2011 Ford F-150 is a fantastic truck for getting the job done. It offers a quiet ride that's still powerful, a nice interior that's both functional and pleasing, offers the latest electronics, and also practical design functions

There aren't too many changes to the outside of the Ford F-150 for this model year. Trim levels get their own unique grille treatment. Other exterior features include a reverse-sensing and backup camera, a telescoping tow mirror, a capless fuel-filler system, running boards or tubular side steps, and two-tone paint (some models).
The inside of the 2011 Ford F-150 is comfortable and spacious. With seating for four people, or up to six if you must. Even adults sitting in the back seat will find plenty of leg room and a seat that's comfortable, thanks to the slightly reclining angle of the seat. You'll also find that the materials used inside are of a good quality. New interior features for the Super Duty include a rehashed instrument cluster, and telescoping steering wheel. Additionally you'll also find a locking center storage console big enough for laptop computers and ridges for hanging file folders. Other interior features include: lumbar support; heated seats; 57.6 cubic feet of cargo room with the backseat flipped up; USB port; and MP3 jack. Safety features include: head restraints; dual-stage front airbags; front seatbelt pretensioners; front airbags; side curtain airbags; antilock brakes; Roll Stability Control; electronic stability; and traction control.
The 2011 Ford F-150 is available in three body styles and 10 trim levels. Body styles include the regular cab available with either a 6.5 foot or 8 foot cargo bed, extended cab (called the SuperCab) available with either
the 6.5, or 8 or a 5.5-foot cargo bed, and the crew cab (also known as the SuperCrew), which comes with either the 5.5-foot cargo bed or the 6.5 foot version.
Trim levels for the 2011 Ford F-150 include the XL, STX, XLT, FX2/FX4, Lariat, Lariat Limited, King Ranch, Platinum, Harley-Davidson, or the SVT Raptor.
Opt for the XL and you'll get 17-inch steel wheels, AM/FM radio, vinyl seats, and air conditioning. The STX adds cloth seating, upgraded sound system with CD and auxiliary jack, body-color trims, and cruise control. Opt for the XLT and you'll add fog lamps, full power accessories, exterior chrome trim, and upgraded cloth on the inside.
Step up to the FX2 (two-wheel drive) and the FX4 (four-wheel drive) and you'll get 18-inch wheels, a towing package, front bucket seats, auto-dimming rearview mirror, trip computer, satellite radio, black-framed headlights and taillights, six-way power driver's seat, Sync, and a 110-volt power outlet.
The Lariat trim level includes leather, power-adjustable pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated eight-way power driver and passenger seats, power-adjustable lumbar, and a power-sliding rear window.
If you choose the King Ranch, Harley-Davidson or the Lariat Limited you'll get everything in the Lariat plus specialized interior and exterior trim and wheels. Depending on which you opt for you may also garner features like heated/ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and power-folding mirrors.
The SVT Raptor is the off-road version of the Ford F-150. It has a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, suspension with wider front and rear tracks, special shock absorbers, special off-road tires, sports seats, unique exterior and interior styling, and an electronically locking rear differential.
Other important features include the Work Solutions option, which includes an in-dash computer with Internet access, Tool Link (you can keep track of the tools in your toolbox by radio-frequency tracking), and the Midbox lockable storage system. Other available options include rear parking sensors and rearview camera, cargo management system, trailer brake controller, sunroof, rear-seat entertainment system, and a hard-drive-based navigation system with Sirius Travel Link.
